Brad Keselowski is in hot water with fellow NASCAR drivers again after causing two wrecks in one race this weekend at Talladega Superspeedway.

Down six laps at the time, Keselowski was racing in the middle of a big pack of traffic near the front of the field when he tried to get loose and lost control of his car.

He spun in front of Trevor Bayne, causing a big crash that knocked out 12 drivers.

Polesitter Brian Scott, Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart, Matt Kenseth, Alex Bowman were among the drivers affected by the crash during Lap 136.

"I'm not really sure why he was driving the way he was driving," said Gordon after the race, according to The Sporting News. "He was laps down and I don't know what he was doing obviously thinking that was going to be the way to get his lap back and all that did was get a bunch of other cars wrecked."

Keselowski was also involved in a previous wreck earlier on in the race, when he cut off and hit Danica Patrick, causing him to spin.

"I don't know what happened. I just spun out in front of the field," Keselowski said after the race, according to The Sporting News. "It just broke loose and spun out on me. I don't know if I ran over something or just busted the rear end or what. I feel bad for the guys who were caught up in it."

The former Sprint Cup champ was supposedly trying to get one of his laps back when he wrecked again, which agitated a number of drivers and crewmen.

"Brad made a pretty bold move early in the race," said Kenseth, according to the magazine. "I thought he was a bunch of laps down, but Brad just spun out in front of all of us and tore up a bunch of racecars."

Keselowski confronted Kenseth on pit road last week after the two drivers made contact late in the race.

"We were trying really hard to get our lap back there and without a yellow or a break, I had to be really aggressive and hope something went our way," Keselowski said.

Race winner Denny Hamlin said he's not sure what Keselowski was thinking racing like that in the middle of the pack.

"There's no reward to do anything like. Really you have to have things line up," he said, according to Fox Sports. "If I were multiple laps down on a superspeedway, I'd probably just hang out behind the pack and hope to not be in the wreck. That would be the only way I could improve my position."
