Audi Launches MM3 Connect App for iOS

Audi's MM3 Connect app has launched on Apple's iOS platform and should be available for Android soon.

Available now in the iTunes store, MMI Connect is compatible with the 2015 Audi A3, syncing completely with the vehicle, Edmunds.com reported.

The app helps to keep the driver connected with picture destinations, where drivers can select a picture or take a picture and send it to the system. They won't need to use an address to get directions.

"This is the most advanced driver companion app Audi has ever launched," said Anupam Malhotra, senior manager of connected vehicles for Audi of America, as quoted by Edmunds. "The Audi Connect Smartphone App features intuitive technology and easy-to-use features that only increase functionality, but make the ownership experience fun and even more enjoyable."

The app also features music streaming, giving drivers access to thousands of online radio stations and connecting with their smartphones.

Another feature is CarFinder, a function that notes where the car is parked and directs the owner back to it. CarFinder is also able to take a photo of the parking spot to spotlight important landmarks.

The 2015 Audi A3 Sedan starts at $29,900 with front-wheel drive, offering 23 miles per gallon for city driving and 33 mpg for highway.
