Take a Look at Volvo's New Concept Estate

By the looks of its third concept for the event, Volvo is all set for the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.

Images have reportedly leaked from the Swedish carmaker, offering a sneak peek at the Volvo Concept Estate, a modernized take on the 1970s Volvo 1800ES shooting brake that Jalopnik calls "stunning" and "lovely."

The new model will be showcased along with the Volvo Concept Coupe and the Volvo Concept XC Coupe at the Geneva Motor Show. All three concepts are a preview of Volvo's new design language that will be showcased in the production 2015 Volvo XC90 launching this fall, according to Jalopnik.

The Concept Estate features a glass roof, T-shaped headlamps and a longer body shape. Inside, the car has a "huge" touchscreen instead of buttons, which works with the digital display in front of the driver, Jalopnik reported.

Possibly a look at the next generation of Volvo wagons, the Estate has a "bright and cozy" interior that Volvo says previews future production models.

According to the Autoblog report, "The cabin, meanwhile, feels as funky as a piece of Swedish furniture, with white leather, orange seatbelts and carpets and an interesting, plaid-like cloth for the headliner and seat backs."

Teaser images of the Estate surfaced last week on the website of Swedish raincoat maker Stutterheim, which was commissioned to create a high-quality car cover for the concept, Autoblog reported.
