Google Glass has been the center of another incident after three suspects reportedly got into an altercation over the device in a San Francisco bar.

Authorities are trying to identify who was involved after a woman told police that the suspects thought she was recording them with Google Glass, KTVU reported.

The incident occurred at a bar in the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood around 1:45 a.m. Saturday, police spokesman Albie Esparza told KTVU.

The woman, who described at least one of the suspects to police, said someone stole her Glass device and took off. She was "able to retrieve" the gadget but lost her purse and cell phone, which were stolen.

According to the SFGate blog, the woman whose Glass device was snatched away from her is Sarah Slocum, a tech writer and business consultant.

Glass is currently only available for early adopters, but the company plans to roll out Google Glass for the general public later this year, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The device recently set a court precedent when a woman who received a ticket for wearing Glass while driving was found not guilty.

Last month, a local judge dismissed the Oct. 30 ticket, which California driver Cecilia Abadie received for "driving with monitor visible to driver," PCMag.com reported.

In another incident, a man was asked to leave a Seattle restaurant in November after he refused to take off his Glass device, reportedly making the other diners feel uncomfortable. 

Google recently gathered tips from users to create Glass-wearing guidelines, which seem to be simple reminders to act like a normal person while wearing the device.

"Standing alone in the corner of a room staring at people while recording them through Glass is not going to win you any friends," the Explorers post warned.

Other tips include not using Glass during high-impact sports or while on a romantic date. Users should also remember not to "be creepy or rude (aka, a 'Glasshole')."
