Get Your Own Tiny Robot Friend for $119 (VIDEO)

Drones might not be delivering packages to your door just yet, but this tiny, two-wheeled robot could bring you that can of soda if you say please.

The Mobile Inverted Pendulum, or MiP, is a toy robot from developer WowWee that dances, plays games and delivers objects while balancing on two wheels, Yahoo Tech reported. It is scheduled to be available in stores in May for $119.

Moving on a base similar to a Segway, the MiP can stay upright while carrying its own weight and responds to hand motions. It maintains its balances even while carrying things but can be purposely knocked over; however, users should know that MiP will make "upset" sounds and noises if you topple it.

"He manages to stay upright while carrying his own weight on a serving tray, a fact that the company demonstrated to me at Toy Fair on Monday by stacking another MiP on top of that one," Yahoo Tech reported.

The robot can be directed through hand motions, which it follows with sensors, or controlled with Bluetooth technology through an iOS or Android device, according to Yahoo Tech.

Through an app, MiP can follow a path, fight other robots and dance. MiP also has an "immersive personality" that responds well to praise and becomes "angry" if it's pushed over, said the website.

MiP can play "follow the leader" by tracking your hand or leg wherever you go. The tiny 'bot can also roam its environment and steer clear of objects in its path. With the ability to follow 100 commands, MiP can clap its hands, spin around and more.

The robot can be preordered online now to be shipped in the spring.
