2014 Mini Cooper Hardtop Priced For $20,745

BMW has announced that the redesigned 2014 Mini Cooper Hardtop will be sold for $20,745, including a $795 shipping fee.

The new price is just $250 more than the 2013 vehicle was sold for, according to a company press release.

BMW also confirmed that the 2014 Mini Cooper S Hardtop will be sold for a base price of $24,395, just $300 more than its 2013 predecessor.

The base model competes in the same segment as similar vehicles like the 2014 Fiat 500, Hyundai Veloster and Volkswagen Golf.

"The product team worked diligently to sustain a minimal price increase over the previous model while adding a number of new technologies and features," said Patrick McKenna, head of Mini product planning and events for Mini USA, in a company press statement.

Customers can start building and ordering the third generation Mini on MINIUSA.com now.

Mini said that its configurator will allow customers to make over 10 million different combinations, including colors and accessories, according to the release.

The new Mini Cooper comes with features like a brand new engine, interior, and improved connectivity.

The 2104 Mini Cooper Hardtop will hit showrooms this spring.
