Polk Loyalty Awards: Toyota Prius, Honda Accord Among Segment Winners

The Toyota Prius, Honda Accord, and Fiat 500 were all named Polk Automotive Loyalty Award winners this week for their respective segments, according to Polk Automotive.

Winners were announced on Jan. 14.

Winners are selected based on customer loyalty, and the ability to get the customers to retain vehicle ownership over a number of buying cycles, according to Polk.

Other winners of loyalty awards include the Ford F-150, Dodge Challenger, and Jeep Grand Cherokee.

The Rolls-Royce Phantom was named the winner in the luxury prestige full-size car segment, while the McLaren MP4-12C was the segment winner in the luxury exotic car segment.

Ford Motors was named the automaker with the most loyal customers, whereas Cadillac was named the most improved company regarding customer loyalty.

The Lexus CT 200h was named the luxury traditional subcompact car award winner, while The Land Rover Range Rover won the luxury full-size SUV segment award.

The Acura RDX, Hyundai Veloster, Jeep Wrangler, Mercedes-Benz G-Glass and Toyota Land Cruiser also won award, according to Polk.

Loyalty is determined by Polk based on households that own a new vehicle and purchase or lease the same vehicle again.
