BMW has released a new video on its YouTube page to provide fans a sneak peak look at the new 2015 BMW i8 plug-in hybrid coupe.

The $136,625 car goes on sale in spring 2014 in the United States, according to BMW.
Other features revealed for the i8 so far includes: scissors-style doors, and twin LED headlamps.
A previous video released by BMW discussed the car's performance expectations, and how they feel it's "not about power alone."
The fuel-effect hybrid's powertrain comes with a 131-hp electric motor, which powers the front wheels and a 231-hp twin-turbo three-cylinder engine for the rear, according to BMW.
BMW claims the vehicle has a combined output of 362 hp.
The i8 will be capable of going 0 to 60 in under 4.4 seconds, according to the automaker. The speed time could be attributed to the vehicle's lightweight aluminum and carbon fiber body.
