2014 Tokyo Auto Salon: New Subaru Levorg Concept Confirmed

Five new concept options of the 2014 Subaru Levorg are set to debut at the 2014 Tokyo Auto Salon.

The most anticipated vehicle is unquestionably the Subaru Levorg STI Performance Concept.

"Subaru, STI and three of the Subaru-car-exclusive performance parts manufacturers will each present their uniquely customized models," said Fuji Heavy Industries, the parent company, in a statement.

Other vehicles confirmed include the Levorg Corazon Sportier Concept, the Levorg Prova Concept, Levorg Premium Sports Concept, Levorg Syms Concept.

No specifics or images have been unveiled at this point however.

Sales are expected to start in Japan during the spring of 2014. There are no current plans to export the vehicles to the U.S. yet, but that could change quickly.

The Levorg concepts will incorporate the "different characteristics of the Levorg," said Fuji Heavy Industries.

Multiple media outlets have said the 2014 Levorg compares closely to the 2014 Subaru Legacy.

The 2014 Tokyo Auto Salon will run from Jan. 10 to 12 at the Makuhari Messe in Tokyo's Chiba prefecture.
