2014 Detroit Auto Show Preview: 2015 Volvo Concept XC Coupe Confirmed (VIDEO)

The Volvo Concept XC Coupe will make its world debut at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show.

"The Concept XC Coupe builds on the Volvo's proud history of Cross Country and XC products," the automaker said in a statement on Wednesday.

The new concept also looks a lot like the Volvo Concept Coupe, which debuted back at the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show.

The new XC Coupe will be revealed on January 13 at the auto show.

The XC Coupe will likely provide a hint at future products, like the XC90 SUV, which will go on sale at the end of 2014.

More details are expected to be revealed regarding to new concept this January.

A YouTube video of the vehicle reveals that it also is similar to the Volvo C30, which the automaker stopped producing earlier this year.
