2014 Honda Civic Release Date: Both Coupe, Sedans Receive Price Increases of $225

The 2014 Honda Civic coupe and sedan will each be sold for $225 more than its predecessor, according to a pricing announcement made by Honda Motors this week.

The 2014 Civic is currently on sale for purchase.

The base 2014 Honda Civic LX sedan with a five-speed manual transmission starts at $19,180, including a $790 destination fee. The base 2013 Honda Civic LX sedan starts at $18,955, including the same destination fee.

The base 2014 Honda Civic LX coupe with a five-speed manual transmission is sold for $18,980, including shipping. The base 2013 Honda Civic coupe is sold for $18,755, including shipping.

A new continuously variable transmission has been made available by Honda for the gas-powered versions of the Civic coupe and sedan.

Honda's base 2014 Civic LX coupe, equipped with the CVT, is sold for $19,880. The base 2014 Civic LX sedan with a CVT goes for at $19,980.

iPhone owners who purchase a 2014 Honda Civic will be able to access Siri without having to take their hands off the wheel, according to the automaker.

Honda's new Display Audio in-car features comes with Bluetooth-connectivity, meaning customers can link their iPhones to their Civic and activate Siri by just holding down a Talk button on the steering wheel.
