Jennifer Lawrence wouldn't have survived a real-life Hunger Games, according to the "Catching Fire" director.
"[She's] way too klutzy," Francis Lawrence, director of "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," told Reddit.
The director stopped by the site for an "ask me anything," and most of the questions were about the 23-year-old actress, Jezebel reported.
"Jen is awesome," he said. "She truly is. She's a great girl, she's really fun, she's really funny, she's very down to earth, she's super-humble and extremely talented and I work with her more than anybody on set because she works pretty much every day, and she never ceases to surprise me with her performance and her choices but never takes herself seriously and she's very endearing because of it."
The hotly-anticipated followup to 2012's "The Hunger Games" performed well at the box office, bringing in an estimated $161.1 million, according to Entertainment Weekly.
"Catching Fire" now holds the title of best November debut of all time, coming in ahead of "The Twilight Saga: New Moon," which took in $142.9 million when it opened in 2009.
The latest "Hunger Games" installment had the fourth-highest opening weekend of all time, and has likely beaten "The Dark Knight Rises" as the highest 2-D opening ever.
Lionsgate spent $130 million on the new movie, which compares with the $78 million budget for "The Hunger Games." The films appeal to a wide range of moviegoers, which boosted box office. While "Catching Fire" had more females than males in the audience (59 percent vs. 41 percent), a greater number of men came to the film's opening weekend compared with "The Hunger Games" initial release.
"Catching Fire" is also beating "The Hunger Games" internationally, bringing in $283.2 million overseas for a $691.2 million worldwide total.
