"Willie Nelson's band bus (not Willie's bus) was in an accident overnight on icy I-30. 3 members of the family were hospitalized. Additional information will be released as we get it," said Nelson's team in a statement.
A spokeswoman with Texas Department of Public Safety said Nelson was not in the bus and the driver was "struggling" to find his way through heavy rain and winds before the bus collided into a bridge pillar, according to ABC News.
State trooper Sylvia Jennings said five members of the band and the driver were on board, but only three were hurt.
"No one suffered serious injuries. Paul English injured his ankle, Billy English suffered a bruised hip and crew member Tom Hawkins has a cracked rib. The other family members on the bus are sore but everyone is expected to recover fully," Nelson's website said.
The country singer was scheduled to perform at the Horseshoe Casino in Tunica, Mississippi on Nov. 23.
Nelson's tour has now been suspended indefinitely, according to ABC News.
"This year's Willie Nelson tour has been suspended indefinitely," Nelson's reps said in a press release. "We will post more when it becomes available."
