The 2014 Chrysler 300S has been confirmed for the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show and will go on sale in early spring 2014.
Chrysler will make its new 300S available in black, with an optional Gloss Black painted roof and a new Black Chrome grille, according to the automaker.
Pricing has not been announced by the Chrysler yet, and likely won't be revealed until sometime this winter.
The 2013 Chrysler 300S is listed on the Chrysler website for $34,640, including a $995 destination fee.
The new model is expected to compete with similar models like BMW 5 Series, Hyundai Genesis and Mercedes-Benz E-Class, according to Edmunds.
Chrysler has equipped its new 300S with a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine with a cold-air induction system and a sport-tuned exhaust system. The engine is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission, according to the automaker.
"Chrysler brand's S-models continue to be among the most sought after lineup of vehicles with their modern and athletic style, and for 2014, the new Chrysler 300S redefines 'S' for 'Stance,' with an even more imposing presence," said Al Gardner, Chrysler Brand president and CEO, in a statement.
The 300S will come available with a more "blacked out look" when compared to its predecessor, according to Chrysler. Other specs confirmed include: a new daylight opening surrounds and taillamp bezels, Gloss Black headlight bezels, and a new Gloss Black belt molding.
It also comes with a new Ambassador Blue Nappa leather sport interior. The vehicle's new exterior color is Dark Ceramic Gray.
New 20-inch wheels with a Hyper Black finish are also standard. It will be available in rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive options, according to Chrysler.
