Mitsubishi has confirmed the Concept GC-PHEV, Concept XR-PHEV and Concept AR will all debut at the 2013 Tokyo Auto Show.
The Concept GC-PHEV is the automaker's equivalent of a full-size SUV with a full-time four-wheel-drive system. Other features for the plug-in hybrid includes a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The Concept XR-PHEV comes with a front engine, a front-wheel drive layout PHEV system and a high-efficiency motor with a high-capacity battery.

The Concept AR has been called a next-generation compact MPV that utilizes a mild hybrid system that includes a 1.1-liter direct-injection turbocharged MIVEC engine, according to the automaker.
All three will come with the automaker's new e-Assist active safety technologies and future infotainment systems.
Mitsubishi will be displaying 17 models total, including 13 on press days, at its booth during the Motor Show.
The concepts will include the new eK Space minicar which will be launched in Japan at the beginning of 2014.
