Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr Split: Couple Call It Quits After 3 Years of Marriage

Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have separated after six years together, E! reported

The actor and Victoria's Secret angel have officially confirmed the split through Bloom's representative.

"In a joint statement, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have announced that they have been amicably separated for the past few months," the rep said in a statement. "After six years together, they have recently decided to formalize their separation.

"Despite this being the end of their marriage, they love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family."

Bloom, 36, and Kerr, 30, began dating in 2007 and were married in July 2010 after only a month of being engaged. They welcomed a son, Flynn, in January 2011.

The pair were last photographed together by the paparazzi on Oct. 8, and their last public appearance was at the opening of "Romeo and Juliet" on Broadway on Sept. 19, E! reported. Bloom is currently starring in the production.

"When I saw Orlando on Broadway in 'Romeo and Juliet,' I was blown away," Kerr said in the November issue of Cosmopolitan. "For someone to be able to learn all that and hold the energy to do it every day, six days a week--I have so much respect for him. We don't run lines though. We keep that very separate. That would be like me asking him to teach me how to catwalk."

Bloom recently listed his home in the Hollywood Hills for a cool $4.5 million, according to E! The "Lord of the Rings" actor has been living in New York with his family and renting out the four-bedroom home back in California.

This year, Kerr also announced she and Victoria's Secret would part ways, though professionally she would remain busy managing her Kora Organics beauty line and starring in Mango's advertising campaign, PEOPLE reported.
