Lamborghini has finally revealed its new $4.5 million Veneno Roadster, which the automaker claims has a top speed of 221 mph.
The Veneno isn't a convertible, as it has no roof at all, not even a fabric roof.
"There is no roof, just a strong rollover bar for optimum safety," said Lamborghini in a statement. "The design is focused on optimum aerodynamics and stability through fast corners, with handling akin to that of a racing prototype."
Lamborghini first announced it would build the car back in Aug., but didn't reveal any information about the vehicle or what it would look like until recently.
Only nine of these Veneno Roadster vehicles will be produced during 2014, according to Lamborghini. Just four of the coupe option will be made available, with one being kept at the Lamborghini museum.
The all-wheel-drive vehicle is powered by a 750 hp 6.5-liter V12 engine, and is capable of going 0 to 62 mph in just 2.9 seconds.
The engine is mated to a seven-speed "IRS" transmission, according to Lamborghini. The car features permanent all-wheel drive with a pushrod suspension as well.
