The "19 Kids and Counting" family could welcome another Duggar in the near future.
Michelle Duggar, 47, told Celebrity Baby Scoop that another child is a possibility. She and husband Jim Bob Duggar celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary on a special episode of TLC's "19 Kids and Counting" that aired Tuesday night.
The pair are already expecting their third grandchild, USA Today recently reported, but they are still "trying" to get pregnant.
"I would hope, but we are not expecting right now. I would be so grateful if the Lord blessed us with another one. We're trying at this point and we shall see if that is a possibility," Duggar said. "If not, we are so thankful and grateful for the ones that God has given us so far. We are also definitely enjoying our grandbabies! They are so precious!"
Duggar also had a response to critics who say she should stop getting pregnant.
"We have studied it and I believe that there is a misconception about overpopulation. I think that the whole mindset of overpopulation is really overrated," she told Celebrity Baby Scoop.
Duggar suffered a miscarriage in December 2011 while expecting a 20th child.
"It's devastating, and many others have experienced very similar situations," Duggar told USA Today. "Probably the hardest part is that when a loss like this occurs, people really don't know what to say.... We realize our sweet little Jubilee is with the Lord, and we will see her again someday."
While she would love to welcome baby No. 20, Duggar is grateful for the blessings of health and family that she has now, she told Celebrity Baby Scoop.
"I feel great," she said. "I think that exercising and eating right definitely makes a difference. My health is good and I am grateful for that ... I think my mind, my spirit, and all of that has been just great. I am so grateful and I don't even know how else to explain it. I am so thankful for the children that we have."
