iOS 7 Download Problems: Common iPhone Issues People Have Had so Far

Apple launched its newest operating system, iOS 7, on Sept. 18, and since then thousands of people have been dealing with issues while trying to download it on their iPhones.

Since being released, Apple has had to do their best to make sure everyone that wants iOS 7 can get it, and many people have been able to do it without any issues, but a lot haven't been able to.

One of the main issues reported is that people are receiving a message on their iPhone that the download for iOS 7 was simply not able to download or was unavailable. Common messages sent out to users with this issues read "software update failed" or "software update is unavailable at this time," according to International Business News.

This issue is most likely a result of too many people trying to do the same thing all at once. More people are attempting to reach Apple's servers than the servers have the capacity for, so the smartphone company is urging people to be patient.

Servers are also slowed down by those who update their operating system and update all of their aps right after, so unless you need each ap right away, waiting to update them could help out others a little.

Some users have said on Twitter that it took an estimated download time of over an hour to complete the process. With a smaller load, Apple servers should be able to complete the download a lot quicker than that.

People have also complained about issues after the download process was completed as well on Twitter, saying that the new features have been killing their battery life quicker than usual.

If you're having issues with your battery life, simply turn off some of the features you don't plan on using for a little while, like iTunes Radio or Control Center, for example.

Another reason to consider turning off your Control Center is that users have discovered there is a way to bypass a set home screen lock combo through Control Center. If you leave it on, and your phone is stolen, you're putting yourself at risk of making all your information available to the thief.

Are there any issues not listed that you've been dealing with? If so, has Apple tried to help fixing it at all?
