‘Fast & Furious 7’ Rumors: Deepika Padukone Drops Out of Movie as Filming Begins in Atlanta

Just weeks after it was revealed Deepika Padukone was joining the cast of "Fast & Furious 7" the Bollywood star has already dropped out.

Padukone claimed she had too many movies scheduled to appear in the seventh installment of the "Fast & Furious" franchise, including a movie with Bollywood's top actor Shah Rukh Khan.

"Game of Thrones" actress Nathalie Emmanuel has reportedly been signed on to take Padukone's place according to HNGN.

"Deepika was offered to be a part of the next "Fast and Furious" movie. She is a huge fan of the franchise and it's disappointing not to be able to do it," the actress' spokesperson said in a press statement. "Unfortunately, the movie goes on the floors immediately and that left too short a time for her to shift her existing date commitments to the producers of "Ram Leela," "Happy New Year" and "Finding Fanny Fernandes."

"Fast & Furious 7" was going to be Padukone's first Hollywood film.

Stars confirmed to return in the next film includes: Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Tyrese Gibson, Jason Statham, Kurt Russell, and Djimon Honsou.

Filming has already started in Atlanta, according to AccessAtlanta.com.

Scenes that have already been shot in the Atlanta area includes one at a cemetery, a correctional facility, and at an elementary school.

"Fast & Furious 7" will hit theaters on July 11.
