Even though the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C smartphones were just revealed last week, a new report is claiming the iPhone 6 will be out sometime during the first quarter of 2014, according to ChristianPost.com.
Rumors have been circulating that the device will come with a larger screen, expected to be between 4.5- to 5-inches, and a 6-inch device is reportedly being tested by Apple as well.
Nothing has been confirmed by Apple as of press time.
A larger screen is expected regardless of what size Apple decides to go with to compete with Samsung's popular Galaxy smartphone and other similar devices.
The 5S comes with three new color options, including gold, silver, and grey, and more colors might be added for the iPhone 6.
During their highly anticipated press meeting earlier this month, Apple confirmed that the iPhone 5C will be made available in bright colors like green, blue and yellow, so Apple may be using the 5C as a test dummy of sorts to see which colors people would buy if made available for the iPhone 6.
Apple claims the 5S will be 20 times quicker than the 5 with an A7 processor, meaning Apple will have to improve that number by early 2014.
The 5C will replace the iPhone 5 once it's released according to Apple.
Those looking to upgrade can purchase the iPhone 5S and 5C in stores on Sept. 20, both of which come with iOS 7.
For those sticking with their old Apple smartphones until the iPhone 6 is out, iOS 7 will be available for download on Sept. 18.
