Bentley has confirmed the 2014 Bentley Continental GT V8 S coupe will debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show.
The automaker has equipped the new model with a 521 hp twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine.
Bentley said the V8 is mated to a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission.
"The V8 S models will go on sale in the first quarter of 2014 and pricing will be available closer to launch," said Corey Proffitt, a Bentley U.S. spokesman, to Edmunds.
The new coupe will be able to go from 0 to 60 in just 4.3 seconds and has a top speed of 192 mph.
The convertible option can go 0 to 60 in 4.5 seconds and has a top speed of 191 mph, according to Bentley.
Expect the V8 to retain the same suspension as the base Continental, but it will be lowered and tuned to provide a sportier vehicle.
Exterior upgrades includes an aero-optimized front splitter, rear diffuser, and side sills according to Bentley.
The V8 S will also get 20-inch five-spoke alloy wheels.
Check back next week to find out more about the new model.
