‘Grand Theft Auto V’ Official Trailer Released (VIDEO)

Rockstar Games released the first trailer for its highly anticipated upcoming video game "Grand Theft Auto IV," and the video gained over 1.7 million YouTube views in one day alone.

"Grand Theft Auto V" will be released on Sept. 17 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

The new game takes place in Los Santos, California.

For the next game, three playable characters will be made available for the latest installment of the popular "Grand Theft Auto" franchise.

The three characters include:

-Michael, a retired East Coast bank robber

-Franklin, a "street hustler" looking to make some money

-Trevor, a "violent maniac" also looking to make a big score

Model Cara Delevingne has been announced as a radio DJ for the game as well, according to the New York Daily News.

A side from the usual "Grand Theft Auto" features like carjacking, explosions, and robbery, the new game will feature scuba diving, BASE jumping and golf, according to Rockstar Games

Players will also be allowed to purchase a car legally this time, instead of having to steal one.

The trailer has been viewed over 2 million times since being released.
