Audi revealed three sketches this week of the new Quattro Sport set to debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show in September.
The Sport vehicle will be based on the 2010 Quattro Concept, but Audi has already confirmed it will be longer and larger than the concept.
AutoBlog.com first reported back in June that the new Quattro would appear at Frankfurt.
New additions may include carbon fiber side sills and a redesigned rear spoiler.
The 2010 concept was equipped with a 2.5-liter engine capable of achieving 408 mph and 354 lb.-ft. of torque. A more powerful engine and electric motor is expected for the new model, though Audi won't comment officially about any of its specifications yet.
The vehicle's top speed should reach around 205 mph, and it's expected to go 0 to 62 in approximately 3 seconds according to Auto Zeitung.
Expect the new vehicle to be sold for over $120,000.
The Frankfurt Auto Show will be held on Sept. 10 according to the show's website.
Make sure to check back next month after Audi reveals more specs regarding the Quattro Sport.
