iPhone 6 Release Date: New Phone Expected in Stores on September 20?

Apple may release its new iPhone 6 smartphone device in the U.S. on September 20 according to StableyTimes.com.

The next iPhone will be revealed at Apple's scheduled press event on September 10, which takes place just 10 days before the new phone could be put up for sale.

Apple's new operating system, iOS 7, will also be unveiled during the event and released officially with the next Apple device.

Apple just released iOS 7 beta 5 this week and another 2 or 3 could be coming before the expected fall release.

Other rumored devices set to debut at the press event include the iPod touch 6, which will look very similar to the iPhone 6, and the iWatch according to StableyTimes.com.

Nothing has been confirmed officially by Apple, other than iOS 7 will be out sometime in the fall, and some media outlets are still convinced the iPhone 6 isn't the next phone Apple will be releasing.

If the iPhone 6 isn't the next device introduced, most experts believe Apple will release the iPhone 5S instead, along with the possible introduction of the iPhone Lite.

Current specs that have been rumored for the new iPhone 5S or iPhone 6 includes an A7 quad core processor and a larger storage capacity. The iPhone 6 is rumored to come in 16 GB, 32 GB, 64 GB, 128 GB options according to the International Business Times.

Two other rumors that have been mentioned by a number of different media outlets include a retina + display and dual LED flash. Neither has been confirmed by Apple as of press time.

Another unconfirmed feature includes wireless charging as one of the more common complaints about the iPhone 5 is its battery capability.

Apple is expecting such a high demand for the new device they've reportedly hired 40,000 new employees to get phones out quick enough.

Apple always releases new phones on a Friday to allow people time over the weekend to go get a new phone, and Sept. 20 is in fact a Friday. It's anyone's guess at this point as Apple is keeping a close lid on what phone it'll introduce next and when.

Which device would you like to see released this fall and why?
