A bear was captured on camera this week two nights in a row stealing a dumpster from behind a German restaurant in Colorado Springs.
After sniffing its way over to the dumpster, the bear was able to wheel one of the dumpsters away which contained leftover food according to a report by SkyNews.
"There's some fresh, really good food attracting the bear," Edelweiss manager Dieter Schnakenberg said to Sky News.
The bear has come back a number of different times to search for food at the German restaurant.
The Edelweiss manager isn't too upset though at the now famous bear, joking that she knew right away where the "good stuff" was.
"She passes up the recycling bin and goes right for the good stuff," said Schnakenberg about the video.
The restaurant features a signature dish of rouladen, steak that is pounded, rolled and stuffed with bacon, pickle, mustard and onions according to the Edelweiss menu.
The store manager warned employees to be on the lookout for the bear after the first sighting, as he had a feeling she would be back for more leftovers and trash. Schnakenberg turned out to be right.
Schnakenberg estimates the bear stands around six feet tall on its hind legs according to the Examiner.
Management is now considering chaining the dumpster in place and locking the lids at night to make sure the bear doesn't run off with the dumpster again.
"He must like our food. He does take out," co-owner Helga Schnakenberg said according to THV-11. "It looks like he's using a shopping cart."
