The 2015 Ford Mustang was spotted during a test drive for the third time this week and now a new video of the pony car has surfaced on the internet.
Though the video is short, the footage reveals the 2015 Mustang will have either a 2.0 or 2.3-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost engine.
As previously reported, the four-cylinder engine should produce 350 hp, which would make it better than the V6 option according to MotorAuthority.com.
The same engine is predicted to power the 2015 Ford Focus RS, set to be the most "extreme" Focus model ever released.
It's not currently known if the engine will be offered in the U.S., but it will be released Europe. Ford will probably decide whether to release the new engine in the U.S. based on how well it does elsewhere according to MotorAuthorty.
Jack Telnack, former global design boss at Ford Motor Company, confirmed this month that he's seen a full-sized scale model of the new car, but wouldn't reveal any details in an interview with Edmunds.
"All I can tell you is that it looks great," Telnack said to Edmunds. "It's all new and it's hot. You will know it is a Mustang. There is no question about that."
Ford hasn't confirmed yet where the new model will be unveiled but a number of options have been discussed. The company could debut the new car at the Detroit Auto Show next January, or it could wait until the New York Auto Show set to take place in April of 2014.
Shelby America recently revealed that it will no longer take orders for the GT350 Mustang at the end of this year. The automaker will stop taking orders on Dec. 31 and after that date it will be discontinued.
