Bentley Continental GT3 Racer to Debut at Goodwood Festival of Speed (VIDEO)

Bentley has released a teaser video of its Continental GT3 one day ahead of its debut at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The new model will be driven in the Goodwood hill climb according to a Bentley press release.

Bentley equipped the GT3 with a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine that's linked to a six-speed sequential racing transmission.

Other specifications will be released at the festival, but Bentley was able to confirm the new model will weigh 2,205 pounds less than the Continental GT.

"Not one single part of the GT3 has escaped out attention and the result is a car that can compete with the field in terms of factors such as power, weight and aerodynamics," Bentley said in a press statement.

The Bentley GT3 Concept Racer was unveiled at the 2012 Paris Auto Show and was easily one of the most visited vehicles.

Bentley expects the same kind of turn out at the Goodwood Festival.

What do you think of the new racer? Did Bentley deliver or could they have done a better job?
