Authorities have said that a luxury sports car skidded into the crowd at a car show in Poland, injuring at least 17 people.
The Provincial Governor's Office in Pozan, located in western Poland, said in a press statement on June 30 that four people are in serious condition but their injuries are not currently life-threatening.
Two children were among the injured according to the Associated Press.
The driver reportedly lost control on a straight stretch of road, broke through a barrier and hit the crowd.
The crash took place during the ninth annual Gran Turismo Polonia show, in which drivers are allowed to show off their rare sports cars according to the show's website.
The event draws amateur motor enthusiast from all over Europe. At least 150 luxury cars are taking part in the event according to Reuters.
Police are still investigating the incident as of press time.
The car was from Swedish specialty automaker Koeingsegg according to the Associated Press. Polish agency PAP have yet to reveal the driver's name but have said the driver was Norwegian.
