Bill Cowher Fine After Crashing Mercedes in New York City, No Arrests Made (PHOTOS)

Former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Bill Cowher is reportedly okay after being involved in a crash while driving in New York City this past weekend.

No one was hurt in the crash according to the New York Post.

Cowher was driving north on Park Avenue at 1:12 p.m. in the Upper East Side when his Mercedes hit the passenger side of a Ford Fusion.

Having recently purchased a condo in Manhattan according to Yahoo Sports, there was speculation that he's interested in becoming the next head coach of the New York Giants or Jets.

"With how banged up that car is, it's amazing no one was really hurt," said witness Jim Conner, according to the Post.

Cowher resigned as head coach of the Steelers in 2007 after guiding the team to a Super Bowl win against the Seattle Seahawks in 2006. He is one of two head coaches to guide his team to the playoffs in his first six seasons.

The former coach is now an analyst for The NFL Today on CBS.

Both drivers claimed to police that they had the green light when the crash took place.

No one was arrested at the scene, nor did the police write any summonses according to the Post.
