Hollywood director Michael Bay has been releasing news regarding his next Transformers film seemingly on a weekly basis and this week he confirmed a new vehicle that will be appearing in "Transformers 4."
A 2013 Chevrolet Sonic RS is the latest new vehicle to be confirmed by Bay, and will feature a custom black, white and purple paint job.
"The ultimate Sonic RS, just pure fun," Bay said on his website.
Other vehicles Bay has added to the "Transformers 4" fleet include: a 2013 Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4, a 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray according to Bay's website.
Bay has also confirmed that Optimus Prime and Bumblebee will look a lot different in the next film.
Photos released by Bay shows the vehicle with familiar blue and yellow paint, with orange flames similar to the first three movies, Prime has been "completely upgraded and custom built" for "Transformers 4" by Western Star, a subsidiary of Daimler Trucks North America.
Like Prime, Bumblebee will still feature the same paint job but will instead be a 1967 Camaro SS in the next movie. Bay has said Bumblebee looks more like the original vehicle that appeared in "Transformers."
"Obviously, Camaro has played a role in the three previous movies, and we're excited to hear that it will play a part in the fourth," said Chevy spokesman Monte Doran according to The Detroit News.
"Transformers 4" will star Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, Nicola Peltz, and Kelsey Grammer according to IMDB.
The new movie is set to be released in theaters on June 27, 2014.
