General Motors revealed this week that its brand-new 2014 CTS sedan will arrive in dealerships this fall for a base price of $46,025, including the $925 destination fee.
The new model will offer more power, interior space, technology and comes equipped with 20 new standard features compared to the previous model according to a company press release.

The 2014 CTS is five inches longer, 244 pounds lighter, and is predicted to be the lightest vehicle in its segment.
"CTS has always been Cadillac's centerpiece, and as our brand expands and elevates the car properly grows to its true place" said David Leone, CTS executive chief engineer in a press statement. "With last year's addition of the award-winning ATS compact luxury sedan, CTS will directly challenge the luxury midsize competition with uncompromised performance, luxury and technology."
Three different packages will be made available by GM including the Luxury, Performance and Premium packages. The packages will be offered with either the 2.0T turbocharged four cylinder or 3.6L naturally aspirated V6 engine in either rear- or all-wheel drive according to the company press release.
The 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine option achieves 272 horsepower and can go from zero to 60 mph in 6.1 seconds, approximately1.5 seconds faster than the current model.
Other standard features include: 18-inch wheels, an 11-speaker Bose audio system with HD radio capability, three USB ports, among other new capabilities.
