ParkMe Showcases New App During 2013 Telematics Detroit Conference, Available Through iTunes and Android, Download Here

ParkMe, the top provider of real-time parking information to navigation companies, showcased its innovative website and mobile apps this week during the 2013 Telematics Detroit conference and exhibition.

The ParkMe app launched on the Android platform in May and was designed in partnership with the new Google Maps app. The app is also available for download on iTunes.

The app gives drivers more access to important information about the closest and more affordable parking locations according to a company press release.

"2013 is shaping up to be a remarkable year of growth, further solidifying ParkMe as the category leader of live parking data," said Sam Friedman, CEO and co-founder in a press statement. "It's rewarding to continue to broaden our relationships with top automakers, device manufacturers, parking operators, local Departments of Transportation and others to bring new innovation to parking and simplify parking for drivers."

ParkMe shows parking rates, payment types, real-time occupancy information and hours of operation for off-street parking lots according to the company release.

The app, which recently landed in the top 10 of free navigation apps in the iTunes App Store, gives drivers live parking information in hundreds of cities across Europe and North America.

Users will be able to find the ideal parking spot in more than 28,000 areas around the world, 1,800 cities, 32 countries and seven continents according to the company release. Through the app, ParkMe will be able to help more people around the world than ever before
