2018 Honda Accord Looks More Aggressive And Gorgeous Than Ever!

Honda has just released a teaser photo for the upcoming 2018 Accord. The new design looks more aggressive and gorgeous than ever.

Using its official Twitter account, Honda released a teaser photo for the upcoming 10th-generation Accord. The tweet comes with a caption, describing the new model as "bolder, sleeker and more stylish than ever."

The teaser photo unveils the front design of the new Accord, showing the form of the front section while the rear part remains hidden in the dark. However, the grille and light sections have been concealed as these parts appear blurred, keeping the confidentiality of the final design.

Furthermore, the tweet also teases the public to look forward to the upcoming grand launch of the 2018 Honda Accord. The automaker specified that there will be a "big live reveal" on July 14.

The tweet also pulled up the excitement trigger as reflected by the comments on the post. Lovers of the Accord model expressed their anticipation on the upcoming model.

One comment even tried to reconfirm if the revelation next month would just be the concept or the final vehicle. Honda graciously responded and confirmed it will be the "real deal."

Meanwhile, Honda has announced last week the new powertrain variants to be offered for the new Accord. There will be three new options coming out for the new car including a 1.5-liter turbo engine that can deliver 140kW. The second option is the latest hybrid that can produce 160kW.

Thirdly, a variant of the 2.0-liter turbo similar to that of the Civic Type R will also be offered. This will actually replace the V6 engine.

The automaker has also announced that the new model can also be availed with a six-speed manual transmission variant or with the latest 10-speed auto transmission. A CVT auto transmission is also another option to choose from.

More details are expected to float in the coming days. Check out our next report for more updates on the upcoming 2018 Honda Accord before it officially launches next month.
