The muscle cars come with sheer muscle, duh! There's no doubt why such rivalry has been going on for this long. Americans take pride to two of its greatest contribution to the world, but hey, competition between them is not a bad thing to see, right? Getting down right to business, did the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro's 650-horsepower crush the 2017 Ford Shelby Mustang GT350R's 526-horsepower?

Before watching the video, the brand new 2017 Ford Shelby Mustang GT350R is powered by a 5.2-liter flat-plane crank V-8. The Camaro, on the other hand, has 6.2-liter supercharged V-8. Well, for one, it doesn't take a technically inclined auto lover to notice that one is obviously powerful than the other? Hey, 6.2 is greater than 5.2, right?

Was the comparison a fair one? To a certain degree, it may not seem to be apples to apples. In a straight line, the Shelby accelerates from zero to 60 mph in 4.0-seconds while the ZL1 did two seconds faster at 3.8-seconds. For those who seem to not mind the full on technical specs and nitty-gritty of everything, such result happened because of Chevrolet's bigger engine.

Experts, however, suggest that it is much better to wait for the Camaro ZL1 1LE to match with the Shelby 350R. Or have the Camaro match against the highly anticipated GT500 or GT500R. This may make the competition more even on the playing field.

Look, at the end of the day, the competition between 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 and 2017 Ford Shelby Mustang GT350R may see no ending.
