2018 Genesis Sport: Luxury And Sportiness Successfully Combined

The 2018 Genesis Sport may well be Hyundai's successful combination of luxury and sportiness. Genesis is Hyundai's luxury division. Over the course of few months, Hyundai wishes for its Hyundai line to be aspirational as, say, owning a Mercedes-Benz or Porsche.

At this year's New York Auto Show, Genesis key personalities revealed that they want the car to be as show-stopping as its more famous luxury counterparts. This is where user experience come to play. Instead of banking on grand marketing campaigns, they are relying on word of mouth.

The 2018 Genesis Sport definitely caught the eyes of experts at the New York Auto Show. It sure did look every bit a classic as it should be. However, it also adds an interesting Sport to the name. Does it live it up to it? Well, it does.

The 2018 Genesis Sport is powered by twin turbocharged 3.3-liter V-6 and mated it with Hyundai's eight-speed automatic transmission. It is capable of producing 311-horsepower from its 3.3-liter V-6 engine. There is also a more powerful option of 5.0-liter V-8, which produces 420-horsepower.

The gearbox remains the same as in the 3.6 V-6 and 5.0 V-8 models. There is also a manual-shifting mode, which is controllable by paddles located behind the steering wheel.

The 2018 Genesis Sport's price starts at $55,250. Well, not exactly around the affordable price range. Obviously, this is all about luxury. However, this price range is relatively more affordable in terms of luxury vehicles. More popular brands go way higher especially for a car this size.

The 2018 Genesis Sport CDC sport suspension offers unbridled stability to tackle any terrain it encounters. It also comes with high-performance sports brakes, which provide the necessary stopping power when it is urgently needed.

Its design is considered to keep one's blood pumping even before putting the alloy sports pedal to the metal. The 2018 Genesis Sport aggressive new body styling boasts of an interior with incomparable energy. Clearly, nothing can go wrong with the Genesis Sport. It's a gem waiting to be discovered.
