The 2018 Jeep Cherokee has been spotted on the road. Spy photos seem to hint that the new jeep has a lot of surprises being covered in disguise. There might be new headlights, rear window and license plate placement.

The spotted 2018 Jeep Cherokee mule was fully covered on the front and rear parts of the new model. However, some details of the nose and tail can be predicted despite the full camouflage.

On the front fascia, the form under the wraps of the new model seems to be bulging differently from the existing Cherokee. It seems that the split, thin and long headlights on the upper sides are no longer present in the new model.

Looking at the upper sides, the form building under the covers seems to show there are no thin, long split headlights. A silhouette of a bigger dip with some frameworks appears to be hiding under the camouflage.

Car analysts predict that the headlight and daytime running lights might have been combined already as a single lighting unit. The theory stems from the similar design currently present from the other Jeep lineup. The speculated new lights appear to be flanking the grille.

Looking at the tail of the new Cherokee, the completely covered back of the new model suggests more surprises too. It also appears that the smooth curved rear window will have some tweaks too. There were blocks bulging around the huge rear window that form a huge frame.

Surprisingly, the license plate on the prototype is now placed in the middle of the backdoor. The current Cherokee carries the plate above the bumper. Will there be changes on the bumper that it can no longer have room for the license plate?

Meanwhile, spy photos for the 2018 Jeep Cherokee show that the two exhaust pipes were retained. This portion was not covered, suggesting no design tweaks.
