2017 Audi A6: Can The Good Overpower The Bad?

The 2017 Audi A6 is one good car and many experts agree. However, there are also those who consider it rather boring for a vehicle of this type. At the end of the day, maybe it is safe to assume that its overall impressive reviews dump the negative ones altogether.

The site Car and Driver has the 2017 Audi A6 as its favorite for good reasons. It does effectively blend driving pleasure, luxury-car comfort, and great build quality. It automatically catapults the A6 to the stratosphere because of this. Audi is notorious for its excellent vehicle offerings and the A6 is no exception.

It also has two different powertrains available. The site even described its performance range from mild to zesty. Its active safety features do help maintain its place comfortably sitting at the top against other luxury brands such as BMW, Jaguar, and Mercedes-Benz.

The 2017 Audi A6 includes antilock disc brakes, stability control, and front-seat side airbags. Alongside these are front knee airbags and full-length side curtain airbags. Optional additions are the blind-spot warning system, night vision camera, and lane keeping assist.

It boasts of the best cabins of its class. It features an impressive dash layout. Its materials are reviewed solid and extremely of the best quality. The infotainment system has myriad of functions, which has a dash-mounted pop-up screen and a knob on the center console.

Unfortunately, the Audi A6 no longer features its diesel option. This may well be the stem of negative words about this luxury vehicle. The rear seat is also reviewed as rather tight compared to its luxury competitors. It may even be too expensive because of its options.

There are three different engines responsible for different power capacity. Its base 2.0-liter turbocharged I-4 produces 252-horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. The 3.0-liter supercharged V-6 produces 333 to 340-horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque. Finally, the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 is extreme producing 450-horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque.
