Audi Q8 Spied, Interiors Now Revealed With Two Huge Touchscreens

The new Audi Q8 has been spotted again while testing on the tracks of Nurburgring. Latest spy photos now reveal the interiors of the new large SUV carry two huge touchscreens.

Spy photos now give a first look on the inside of the new Audi Q8. Similar to its predecessor Q7, the new SUV also carries the same cabin but with few retouches. There is a huge touchscreen display mounted on the center console.

Two concepts were already introduced this year. The Q8 Concept was first introduced in Detroit while the Q8 Sport Concept was launched in Geneva. Both Concepts carry the same display that provides access to the HVAC controls.

The spy photos reveal that the upper touchscreen for the MMI infotainment system is roughly mounted onto the top of the dashboard. However, it appears that the setup is just a provisional one. It is expected that the final model will have a cleaner setup, which was earlier introduced in the Q8 Concept and Q8 Sport Concept.

Furthermore, the new Audi Q8 is speculated to have a lovely Audi Virtual Cockpit that has replaced the analog dials from the SQ7. The theory was strengthened with the report that the new A8 also carries the same second generation of the technology, so it is likewise expected that the new Q8 will have the new Audi Virtual Cockpit.

In another report, it was detailed that there were two display screens. Aside from the huge screen on top of the dashboard, there is also another screen below the air con vents. This lower screen shows the climate page. There is also a thin touch panel buttons, below the screen, that features the Audi drive select feature.

Another first in the models of Audi is the setup of buttons to launch the Active Safety System. There is a row of buttons on the lower console in between the volume control knob and the push start button.
