The upcoming C-Class sedan facelift was previously spotted testing in harsh conditions. Today, a number of spy photos of the more powerful 2018 Mercedes-AMG C63 are already all over the internet possibly on a road test.

Similar to its two-door brother, this C63 sedan test mule features halogen headlights, which are usually seen for entry-level models in the premium category. But don't expect it to be included in the final production C63 facelift, which will come with brand new LED headlights and taillights.

Other significant visual updates for the 2018 model year will be the redesigned front bumper that will get reshaped air intakes, a slightly revised back bumper, and probably a new and better radiator grille in GLC63/GLC63 Coupe style. Unfortunately, no interior images are available yet, but according to previous spy photos, the infotainment system of the C-Class will be upgraded and will be controlled by a brand new touchpad and the steering wheel will also be redesigned.

In addition, some reports say that the mid-cycle refresh for the vehicle, along with the range-topping C63, could get a dual all-digital screen setup as an option, with the cluster and dials being also updated. But that is yet to be confirmed by the automaker.

There is no word yet about the 2018 Mercedes-AMG C63's powertrain. It's still not clear if the 4.0-liter Biturbo V8 engine of the car will get any upgrade. But it's possible that it will be untouched since the engine already offers a lot of power and torque. The engine produces 463 hp on the standard C63 and 503 hp on the C63 S variant.

Speculations suggest that Mercedes is planning to unveil the facelifted C-Class family before the year ends or in early next year, and the AMG sedan version will likely be launched together with the regular sedan and station wagon. Pricing details of the 2018 Mercedes-AMG C63 are still unknown.
