BMW announced it will offer discounted M3 and M4 Pure models. The units will arrive on the market in July with a price tag of $129,900 for the M3, which is $10,000 cheaper than the regular M3 and $15,000 cheaper than the identical M3 Competition. The M4 Pure, on the other hand, will cost $139,000 and it's still priced less than the standard or equivalent models from other car brands like Alfa Romeo and Mercedes-Benz.

This offer, however, will be exclusive to BMW customers in Australia. According to Motor Mag, the price cut removed features such as the adaptive LED lights, full leather trim, heated seats, sunblind and the Harman Kardon premium audio system. Instead, the cars will carry carbon fiber interior and roof, classic LED headlights, an ample nine-speaker hi-fi sound system and all other standard features including the Drive Assistant.

Owners of the discounted M3 and M4 Pure models won't feel shortchanged. The cars will include a power improvement from 317kw to 331kW and a chassis improvement with its M suspension and 15 percent increased spring rates. The cars can either be fitted with 19-inch black alloy wheels or upgraded to 20-inch, which is similar to the Competition model, as per Wheels.

Inside the car, BMW purists will appreciate the minimalism so that full focus is on the M Sports seats that are trimmed with the M colors. Outside, the M3 and M4 Pure models have the distinct and identifiable grille, side gill, boot badge and the improved sports exhaust similar to the M3 and M4 Competition.

"The Pure puts an even sharper focus on the driver by combining the popular Competition package with an extremely competitive price point," BMW Australia chief Mark Werner said, as per Drive.
