First Lamborghini Centenario Finally Arrives In US!

The first Lamborghini Centenario was recently delivered in the U.S. Following its sighting in Hong Kong, America finally got its turn to get this limited and commemorative supercar. It recently made its first appearance as it got delivered to a distinct customer based in Newport Beach, California.

The Lamborghini Centenario was first seen in the orient as it got delivered in Hong Kong a week ago. Now, an L.A.-based customer will be one of the owners of the only 40 examples made.

This specific example wears a bare carbon fiber exterior with blue accents. This is apparently the first time a Centenario came in different without its characteristic yellow finish.

It is a bespoke supercar designed through Lamborghini's Ad Personam program and comes with Alcantara and blue cabin. It is definitely called a supercar for a very good reason. It is capable of producing 759-horsepower because of its naturally aspirated V-12 engine.

Lamborghini also says that all the U.S.-bound units will be delivered through the end of the year across the country. The exact number of the U.S.-bound Centenarios is unknown, which is how Lamborghini wants it to be. One down, there's no guessing how much more to go and where in the U.S. the next bunch of Centenarios will land.

Alessandro Farmeschi, Chief Operating Officer of Automobili Lamborghini America, said that it is especially important about the Centenario that represents a very personal milestone in the ongoing legacy of the founder, Ferruccio Lamborghini. This is definitely fitting for the company's founder birth commemoration.

The first Lamborghini Centenario in America is one beast of a car as it can accelerate from zero to 62 mph in just 2.8-seconds and only weighs 3,351-pounds because of its predominantly carbon fiber body. Pricing starts at $1.9 million before taxes for the Centenario Coupe and even steeper for the roadster at $2 million.
