Well, at least the poor performance is somehow overshadowed by an increased comfort level in the cabin. It does translate to having larger cargo space as well.

The 2017 Nissan Rogue is rated below other compact SUVs in the segment. Based on many reviews and expert insights, the only thing that makes this a worthy car is its interior. All other features fall flat that even the non-technically inclined driver notices.

Its visibility and acceleration are rated as poor. The pricing, on the other hand, is interesting and catchy. However, its is a case of "you get what you pay for." If one has a little bit more cash to spend or can find better dealership deals and promos, better consider Honda CR-V or Mazda CX-5.

Having a Hybrid option is a welcome news. Such compact SUV at least has other options for customers to choose from. However, the hybrid won't offer seven-seater capacity. That may be a let down for those wishing to have more space while driving a hybrid.

Industry experts who had the chance to drive the 2017 Nissan Rogue say it is not fun at all. Unfortunately, even the 2016 Nissan Rogue did not fare well in a nine crossover Big Test comparison and even placed eight because of its disappointing fuel economy and poor driving dynamics.
