Jaguar released fresh teasers of its 2017 Jaguar XF Sportbrake ahead of its June 14 debut. The three new images were shot in a remote tennis court as sports star Andy Murray will be expected to do the actual reveal next month.

The images, however, showed few details. Motoring Research cited it was not easy to make out how the 2017 Jaguar XF Sportbrake actually looks like as only the silhouette was shown.

Designer Ian Callum, however, said the new Jaguar will "bring new levels of practicality to the range without sacrificing the dynamic design and agile handling our customers expect." The teaser also had a view from the top of the 2017 Jaguar XF Sportbrake revealing its expansive glass panoramic rooftop.

Meanwhile, a video teaser featuring another tennis star, Tim Henman, also showed nothing much in terms of actual styling. The video carefully camouflaged the vehicle during the discreet road test but one could see its form in the slight. Watch the said video below.

On the front side, the 2017 Jaguar XF Sportbrake appear to look similar to the saloon with its recognizable mesh grill, narrow lights and chromed air vent. The tail lights on the backside also look identical to the saloon, as per Auto Express. It appears to also have a roomier rear compartment space and headroom.

The 2017 Jaguar XF Sportbrake is the car brand's answer to BMW's 5 Series Touring and Mercedes-Benz's E-Class Estate, as per Auto Car. The new Jag is expected to also carry similar engineering as other Jaguar models with its 2.0-litre diesel base unit and 3.0-litre V6 petrol and diesel engines. Power output is at 161bhp to 375bhp with a standard six-speed manual drive and an optional eight-speed automatic drive.

Expect more teasers for 2017 Jaguar XF Sportbrake as its launch date nears. Keep eyes peeled on the road for a spotted car as there has been ongoing road testing in the U.K. since April.
