The upcoming BMW i8 Spyder has been recently spotted being tested at Nurburgring. From what was seen, the captured images suggest that the supercar may come looking like what it is expected to look like. Cues from the images undoubtedly reveal it is indeed the i8 with only little changes.

The mule that was spotted is clearly an i8 with minor differences. From what was recently spied, the mule sports a soft roof as compared to the usual. The convertible is also expected to still have the same 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine and electric motor setup.
