OnePlus 5 details have allegedly been confirmed now. Latest report claims that the tech giant has confirmed to the name and release date of the upcoming smartphone.

As previously reported, OnePlus has registered a new smartphone model at the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) with a model number A5000. Now, it seems that theories on the said name of the smartphone have been confirmed. Apparently, The Verge claims that OnePlus has confirmed to them that the name of the OnePlus 3 and 3T successor is OnePlus 5.

The report mentioned that many employees of the tech giant declared themselves as fans of Robert Horry, who is wearing a jersey with the number 5. Hence, the next flagship was allegedly named OnePlus 5.

Moreover, the publication also claims that the smartphone creator has also confirmed the release of OnePlus 5. According to the report, the new flagship is arriving this summer.
