Maserati Launches Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) Program With 2-Year, Unlimited Mile Warranty, Includes Levante SUV, Quattroporte

Maserati recently launched its Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) Program in which buyers get to have a second-hand Maserati that comes with a 2-year, unlimited mile warranty. So, drive all you want with your pre-loved Trident and leave any mechanical issues to the brand.

Since owning an Italian car isn't cheap, we are not talking about the purchase price but the maintenance cost once it breaks down and they are quite known for their reliability, Maserati gave birth to its CPO program so that used Maseratis won't drive customers away, in fear of having to pay a large amount of sum to keep the vehicles running.

It is called Officine Maserati. And among the vehicles included in the program are used GranTurismo coupes and convertibles, Ghiblis, Quattroporte sedans, and presumably the new Levante SUVs and others that will soon be included in the second-hand market.

And each Maserati being offered via the CPO program has been certified as a pre-owned candidate and is subjected to a 120-point inspection process. Also, the Trident marque also claims that each vehicle must still have a "partial amount of the 5 year/4000 mile warranty intact" in addition to complying with factory standards for condition and services.

If vehicles pass the grueling inspection, then Maserati grease monkeys recondition the vehicle to the automaker's standards and their services are brought up to date. And then the CPO program is born, the 2-year warranty with unlimited mileage and 24-hour roadside assistance. To top that off, each CPO Maserati vehicle includes a 3-month charge-free SiriusXM satellite radio.

In terms of the extended warranty, it is tacked on whatever is left on the original factory coverage with a max of 6 years. It covers transmission, drivetrain, steering, engine, brakes, cooling, electrical components, fuel system, and climate control.

The Maserati CPO program was launched last April. However, their inventory is still ongoing. Price-wise, they would fall between new and used. But the warranty guarantees some peace of mind when it comes to exceptionally high maintenance costs.
