2017 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Review: A Powerful Midsize Truck Ready For An Ultimate Off-Road Racing

Another Chevrolet vehicle is out to race. The 2017 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 was shipped out to its owners and dealerships just recently. The good news is that this midsize truck will start racing soon.

Yes, it's true! In fact, one of the first deliveries will be delivered to Hall Racing and this car will join several trucks in the Best in the Desert racing series. According to Chad Hall, the 2017 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 will be modified to suit the racing series even more.

Hall is quoted as saying that the vehicle caught their attention because of its "built-in versatility and high-speed, off-road potential of the Multimatic DSSV dampers." He added that aside from the ones he mentioned, he also loved the "ground clearance, ride-stability, departure and breakover angles" of the 2017 Chevrolet ZR2.

Many followers might ask what are the chances that this new Chevrolet offering will win this year? Well, the 2017 Chevrolet ZR2 is a serious off-road capable truck that boasts of its Duramax 2.8L 181 HP Turbo-Diesel Engine. It has hardcore chassis that carries Multimac shocks, reliable off-road suspension, and Tubular rocker protection.

With its Off-Road Technology, it can easily allow drivers to drive in different conditions. In addition, whether users are driving in desserts, mountains or mud you can be assured that this ultimate truck will be able to deliver.

Aside from the Duramax engine, an advanced 3.6L 6 cylinder 8-speed transmission gas engine is available. Now how much would this off-roader costs? a pricey $40,995 for the gas engine.

For those who want to have a glimpse of the much talked about Chevrolet Truck, catch them on august 18 and 19 at the General Tire Vegas to Reno and on October 19-22 at the VT Construction Tonopah 250. Surely, the 2017 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 will amaze spectators with an ultimate off-road ride.
