Porsche 911 GT3 Is Different, The Good Kind Of Different

Porsche 911 GT3 is yet another testament to the British car maker's ingenuity and expertise. In more ways than one, the 911 GT3 performs incredibly well on track, although some industry experts may say otherwise.

The Porsche 911 GT3 is insanely powerful as it is capable of producing 493bhp. However, some may think that its six-speed manual transmission may be overwhelmed with such extreme power. Well, that is not the case with the 911 GT3 as it performed exceptionally well with the engine working just fine even at high speeds.

Alright, it is a tad bit slower, accelerating from zero to 62 mph in 3.9-seconds. It also lost its electronically controlled rear slip differential for a mechanical one. Well, it doesn't matter and industry experts don't mind at all.

The lingering question remains, is the Porsche 911 GT3 better? Experts hold off on that answer but are quick to describe it as different- the good kind of different. It is ferociously fast which easily makes it one of the most compelling drivers' car ever driven.

Noise level inside the cabin is loud. Sound deadening has been reduced. This may be related to its 17 kg weight loss. The noise may reach uncomfortable level inside especially while heavily revving, but that's just a minor setback. Car enthusiasts notice it but can let it pass.

The Porsche 911 GT3 also comes in attractive and commanding because of its huge rear wing, giant air intakes, and fender-filling wheels. All these definitely suggest that the 911 GT3 is a serious track performer.

The more popular option is its six-speed manual transmission, however, it also drives rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. There is also the more discreet 911 R which doesn't come with the rear wing and has a six-speed manual as standard.

Porsche 911 GT3 definitely means business, especially on the track. Car enthusiasts generally describe it as an excellent car of its kind. Its impeccable performance outweighs all of its minor setbacks.
