AMD has already confirmed the highly anticipated Radeon RX Vega is coming out any time this quarter. The quarter only has two months left, so the new graphics card can be expected to be completely done by this time. Recently leaked image of the packaging seems to hint that the new card is ready to come out via Computed 2017 and as a bundle with the game "Quake Champions."
It seems that the AMD Radeon RX Vega is already geared up to make its grand release as an allegedly leaked packaging has just surfaced. A picture of the final packaging for the upcoming graphics card is now circulating online.
The allegedly leaked packaging image does not show an intricate design. In fact, the design was very simple that it does not reflect the new specifications except the already known features retained from the previous Radeon RX 500.
The alleged leaked packaging reflects the title "AMD Radeon RX Vega" and the marketing slogan "Bring Gaming To Life." It also contains the features of the current Radeon RX 500 such as the DirectX 12, FreeSync 2, Radeon Chill, Vulkan, and Radeon ReLive live capture support.
On the contrary, since only the retained features and no new feature was reflected on the alleged leaked packaging, does this seems to suggest that the new graphics card will not be extremely different from the current card?
Furthermore, the alleged leaked packaging also has the image of the game "Quake Champions" on the front side. This led to another theory that the much-awaited Radeon RX Vega card will most likely come with a bundle of the said game.
Meanwhile, the alleged leaked packaging was first reported by videocardz. The publication claims that sources from Informatica Cero have provided the leaked image.
AMD remains mum with the official release date of the highly anticipated Radeon RX Vega card. However, reports point to an end May release, specifically in the upcoming Computex 2017.
Computex 2017 is set to open its doors on May 30 and will end on June 3 in Taiwan. The theory that the AMD Radeon RX Vega card will most likely be released in Computex fits the creator's timetable. Do you think the new graphics card will come out via Computex 2017?
